Juju44 album release show in Berlin

I got tickets rather spontaneously when I saw a friend selling 2 tickets on Instagram Stories. I talked to another friend about buying those and going there, and that's what we did!

Lately our work schedule changed which means I am off work at 12PM, which allowed us to drive to Berlin right after I was home! We had to drive 4 hours to get there. Even though traffic wasn't too bad, we still had to endure a lot of road works, which slowed us down and we were constantly checking the time, to see if we are still on time for the concert. But we got to our hotel in time, freshened up, bought some fun drinks and went to the concert by tram. On the way we also saw people going to the concert too, which gave us a little spark of anticipation for the evening. ✨

We got in fast and headed for the bar (and istg it took so effing long to get a beer because it was so crowded, jeez) and the support act already started playing. I didn't know who it was, so I didn't really care but then the first chorus hit and it was Kiarababa with Yannick and I GASPED!!

About half an hour later Juju came on stage and everybody was freaking out!! She hadn't been making music for years and came back with a few amazing songs she released beforehand from the album. The day we went to see her, her album dropped so we didn't really know any lyrics. But of course she played some songs all of us knew and even did some songs from her SXTN-era. Since SXTN was so iconic those songs blew up the most of course. I mean, we all (or most of the crowd) got to know her from that DUO-Band she had with another rapstress.
I think my favorite of the night was allein off her new album aaand von party zu party from her SXTN era.
Anyway, her setlist was amazing and even some other artists (friends of her I suppose?) joined her for the releaseshow, for example badmómzjay and RAF Camora. I didn't add them to my concert list since it wasn't really their concert, but I wanted to mention them! 🤭

I have seen her YEARS ago and it was such a blast too! She really is just great and I will definitely buy another ticket in the future if I get the chance 😎 But first, I'm going to enjoy the upcoming concerts waiting for me!

But I'm a little bit worried, I haven't bought a single concert ticket for 2027 yet...
