Wow what a long list of upcoming concerts

From Wedding Bells to Ennio's Stage
What a day. At night I was yet at a wedding which was 500km away from where I actually needed to be by evening. After waking up and 8am (still half asleep, honestly), my friends and I drove all the way back home. I had a grand total of 30 minutes to unpack and repack my bag before another friend picked me up. Why? Because we were heading to her hometown, where I'd be also sleeping that night.
From there, the real chaos began. We had to run to catch our train because we lost track of time sipping on sparkling wine and jamming to Avril Lavigne. (The early 2000s live rent-free in our heads.) Out of breath and my lungs absolutely dying (when do I ever run LMAO) we made it onto the train with two minutes to spare. Total miracle.
And then finally the concert. ✨
It wasn't a typical concert in some crowded arena. No, it was open air, nestled between trees strung with fairy lights, offering some much-needed shade. The atmosphere was beautiful. We stood there, Wildberry Lillet in hand, chatting with lovely people around us while the excitement for Ennio built up.
And let me tell you: Ennio delivered. He ATE.
He put on such a great show. It was so wholesome, so fun and absolutely worth every cent. We danced, jumped (ugh), we screamed, had back pain but all in all a good time!
Afterwards, we made our way back to the station, expecting a smooth ride home, only to see at the chart that our train must have went without us. Or so we thought.
Turns out, for whatever reason, it stayed put for a few extra minutes. Enough for us to jump on board. We couldn't believe our luck. We were already mentally preparing to wait an hour for the next one.
To end the night, we grabbed a couple of ciders and hit a karaoke bar. And of course we went all in with "Nur ein Wort" by Wir Sind Helden. The whole place joined in, singing and celebrating along with us which was just amazing, since many people there didn't seem to be that kind of people who enjoy that kind of music. 😅
One wedding, one concert, one near-missed train, and one karaoke anthem later I am finally back home.
BUT OH SHOOT! I have to get ready to go have lunch with friends LOL
